What The Learning EDGE provides is much more than the activities that can generate camaraderie but many times are forgotten when people return to work.

What we provide is a structured and customized training program that will be reinforced by custom activities that are geared to begin to change behavior.  We provide you a custom curriculum based on the behavior goals you have identified, in our survey, that need to be changed, reinforced or modified.  We then provide the necessary tools and techniques that will allow participants to begin making those changes.  The custom activities are not only fun but provide the controlled environment to practice with the new tools and techniques and provide the positive reinforcement to begin the desired change in individual and team behavior.

EXAMPLE

If you were wanting the team to be able to more effectively handle conflict, we would provide and discuss the phases of conflict, the conflict model and then provide you several conflict tools and avoidance techniques that would help the team to deal with the conflicts they face everyday in the workplace.  The custom activities would then set up conflict situations that would allow the team members to practice what they had learned about conflict and begin the process of implementing the tools and techniques into their new skill sets.

The debriefs are geared to allow discussion from the team members about the tools and techniques and then provides the environment to discuss where these types of situations exit on the job and how they would use the tools or techniques to handle these in the future.  We capture all these responses and highlight these in our follow-up newsletter and can provide the opportunity for the team to set action plans to begin to handle these conflicts in their areas of responsibilities.

These are the same type of learning techniques that the instructors are using at The University of Texas at Dallas in their middle management and leadership challenge programs for the school of business.
